The festival is a celebration of Caribbean culture by ways of music, arts, food, rum, kids’ activities, and more! In celebration of what would have been Bob Marley’s 80th anniversary, this year’s 26th festival’s theme has been dubbed "the Reggae Edition".

  • Main Stage: With more than 35 acts, festival goers can join in the interactive crowd-engaging dance, percussion and limbo workshops, as well as the many electrifying live reggae bands, acoustic and DJ performances supported in part by FACTOR. Some of the live performances are brought to you by Stages Canada, which consists of several Caribbean artists from Toronto and across Canada; schedule here.

  • Latin Stage: With more than 20 acts, this newly added Latin stage is inside the Latin Fuzion zone this year, which also features Latin restaurants, merchandise, performances, and themes within the festival grounds. All of the performances are brought in part by 514Promo, which consists of a fusion of Latin artists from across the Caribbean and South America; schedule here.

  • Kids Zone: This year’s giant 65’ ft long by 25’ ft high official ‘Black Pearl’ inflatable boat from the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ will be as entertaining for kids as for the parents. We also have several face-painting activities and games.

  • Movies by the water: A newly added zone by the waterfront on the grass will feature a Caribbean-related movie every night from 8pm-10pm, starting with the Bob Marley – One Love film and others.

  • Rum Zone: The famous Rum Zone has become a great way to discover Caribbean rums! This year’s rum zone will feature a special hexagonally covered tent with a ground terrace. Visitors can pick from a variety of rum-based cocktails while enjoying the educational mixology performances.

  • Food: With over 24 restaurants, patrons can travel to the islands through their taste buds by sampling traditional and fusion dishes. Food vendors will be serving up a variety of dishes, desserts and homemade juices from Jamaica, Haiti, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Grenada, St-Vincent, Barbados, Trinidad, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Venezuela, and more from neighboring regions!

  • Merch Kiosks: With over 55 merchandise kiosks (double that of last year), festival goers can sample Caribbean and Latin related products from a wide variety of categories, such as clothing, jewelry, accessories, hot sauces, sugar cane, freshly chopped coconuts, ginger beer, health products, sea moss, hair products, mobile products, arts and crafts, hair products, inspirational products, and more.

  • Caribbean Karaoke: The return of this zone says it all; people just want to sing!

  • "One Love" Tent: This year’s ‘Golden Year’s Project’ will feature activities for seniors by seniors of Caribbean descent as well as several panel discussions with guest speakers will be shown, filmed, and edited by the youth program, in collaboration with the Black Community Resource Centre (BCRC) and with the support funding by the Government of Canada (Canadian Heritage Foundation). This project had an on-going all-year round segment with some of the CHSLD centers, which finalizes on-site at this year’s festival.
