GRAND MINUIT - A MONTRÉAL-STYLE NEW YEAR'S EVE

A new winter tradition takes root in Montréal!

In collaboration with the City of MontréalTourisme Montréal, the Government of Québec, the SDC Vieux-Montréal, and the Old Port of MontréalMulticolore presents Grand Minuit, one of the largest free winter events in Quebec to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. A true festive ritual at the heart of winter, Grand Minuit aspires to become an annual Montréal tradition: a large, inclusive, and creative public gathering where the Quai Jacques-Cartier lights up and warms to the rhythm of celebration. Midnight becomes the highlight of an open-air spectacle blending music, light, art, and winter magic. On the program: live performances, luminous scenography, unexpected moments, and a grand midnight countdown — a shared ritual to welcome the New Year together.
