Board of Directors
Responsibility for the Corporation's governance rests with a Board of Directors whose members are appointed by the Canada Lands Company. The Board is composed of five outside directors.
Senior management
The President and Chief Executive Officer is responsible for an expert management team that runs the business units and corporate services.
There are six departments:
Quays of the Old Port
Develops events programming for the Quays and offers products and services to visitors.
Montréal Science Centre
Develops and promotes science-themed activities and products.
Finance and administration
Provides the strategic information required for the effective management of human, physical and financial resources; ensures that administrative procedures are followed.
Land management
Manages the site and its facilities, ensures the site's cleanliness, aesthetic appeal and safety for visitors, and helps promote its spaces and buildings.
Marketing
Promotes the Old Port and its products as a world-class destination; establishes financial and commercial partnerships with corporate sponsors and is the voice of the Corporation in its relationships within the industry.
Human resources
Manages the Corporation's human capital and performs duties related to organizational development, training, employee relations and working conditions.
The team
- The Old Port of Montréal Corporation has nearly 375 employees who are led by an expert team of managers, senior managers and department heads. They are assisted by professionals who contribute their knowledge and experience to the completion of projects that position the Old Port as Montréal's top attraction.
- Over 200 employees perform maintenance, support and operational duties related to various activities.
